The rainfall and gusty winds are predicted to last for multiple days. So far, the unpredictable weather has caused temporary power outages in some areas of the island.
Flooding and Mudslides are predicted to happen in some areas on the island. The Wave could develop into a Tropical Depression after passing Jamaica, heading into Central America.
Two other Tropical Waves which are also called Tropical Disturbances located in the Atlantic Ocean are also being monitored.
