Jamaica Now has 30 COVID-19 Cases

Today the Jamaican Gov’t gave an update via a virtual press conference on the country’s state with regards to the Coronavirus outbreak. Press Conference – March 27 2020.

PM Holness stated in the conference that the first community to be quarantined in Jamaica, Bull Bay will be lifted today.

Jamaica now has a total of 30 positive Covid-19 cases after 4 persons were tested positive within the last 24hrs.

Jamaica has carried out 250 tests with 30 persons testing positive, 2 results are now pending.

6 persons have reportedly recovered from their illnesses however they still test positive hence they will remain in quarantine until they reach eligibility to be released which is two positive test results in a 24hr period.
