Jamaica Reggae Girlz Won Cuba 6-1

Jamaica Reggae Girlz became the champions for the Caribbean in women’s football as they are now at the top of the table. After they won, the match against Trinidad and Tobago on Friday they booked their trip to the US. They secured their ticket, for the Concacaf Women’s Football Championship.

The girls went on to win their match against Cuba when they scored 6 goals to 1. Kadija Shaw is the leading goal scorer, the scored twice in the Concacaf round of world cup qualifiers match.

Which was the match they played with Cuba was the final match in round of Caribbean qualifiers and winning that match caused them to be at the first place.

The Reggae Girlz captain Konja Palmer, said she was glad for the crowd support and plans to continue doing well.
The Cuban coach Reniel Bonora Penalver said she knew it would be hard for her team to win, but she is glad for the goal they scored as they have now qualified for the final stage.
