Jamaican Fredrick Dacres Rises to the Top at Stockholm Diamond League

[Sharingbuttons]Fredrick Dacres started his Diamond League season on top with a 68.51-meter throw in Rome two weeks ago, but he had a setback last Thursday at the meet in Oslo. 

But at Stockholm Diamond League a couple days ago the Jamaican rebounded and produced his best, he won the men’s discus with a throw of 69.67 meters that was a meet record and his personal best.

He took the lead in his first attempt with a throw of 68.15 meters and then he made his big throw which caused him to win even the reigning Champion Andrius Gudzius from Lithuania who found himself in second place after he did all he could do. Dacres is elated because of his success, as he won a Diamond for breaking the meet record.
