
Mobay Dancehall artiste Jamal is on a roll, having seen more success over the past year than he has seen in the previous 10, musically. His latest musical release titled ‘999’ jumped to number one on trending in a day after it’s release on April 1.
Number two spot on trending is ‘Shake It To The Max Remix’ by MOLIY, Shenseea, Skillibeng and Silent Addy, while the number three spot is inhabited by Chronic Law’s ‘Nonchalant’. ‘999’ is Jamal’s first single of 2025 and it’s a song that the deejay uses to remind listeners of his gangster ways and chopping lifestyle.
Some lyrics, “Tell poverty R.I.P, money is all i see cause mi live inna the trap, mi too dunce fi show ID memba wi got cash… a 39 mi G when mi dawg chip-up one Glock.”

The music video for ‘999’ featured Jamal and friends at various locations, including a property that’s beside the ocean. Several high-end vehicles are also on display throughout the video.
Apart of the song’s description on YouTube explains the meaning of the song’s title, “999 signifies completion and new beginnings”. The hard hitting track was produced by Diamond Krust Rescords while the music video was shot & edited by Dario MAGiX. The riddim was Composed By MXSSIVH & Deemo.
