JA’s First Entertainment Centre To Be Built in Montego Bay

[Sharingbuttons]There is a plan for Jamaica’s first entertainment center to be opened in Montego Bay. The Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) will provide $50 million towards the design and preparatory work. The building should be completed by 2020.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Tourism Ed Bartlett when he spoke at a graduation ceremony for 26 DJ’s who graduated from the DJ Academy of Jamaica in St. James. There has been a tourism linkages sports and entertainment network DJ training initiative going on for a while. The building will have the necessary acoustics that is specifically appointed for musical and cultural expressions.

The Prime minister had given instructions for the project to be done and this is something the country will benefit from in a great way.
