Kanye West Says Forbes Underestimated His Net Worth, Claims He’s Worth More Than $2 Billion

Forbes Magazine recently published the 36th-annual ranking of the planet’s richest people and provided a comprehensive list on its website, highlighting the 2,668 billionaires in the world based on their ranking and net worth.

Since this publication, American rapper, record producer, and fashion designer, Kanye “Ye” West is in disagreement with the magazine ranking him at #1613 with a net worth of $2 billion, as he claims that Forbes is underestimating his hard work and assets.

According to The Blast, West claims that the investigation and results used to assess net worth by the magazine are inaccurate because he is actually worth $7 billion, therefore, would rank higher on the real-time billionaire list.

Nonetheless, Kanye is known for reprimanding Forbes whenever it publishes a billionaire listing that he is not satisfied with. In 2020, it is alleged that he sent a text message to the publisher that stated “It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count” after they published a listing with a net worth of $1.26 billion.

Kanye West currently has two multi-million deals with both the Adidas and Gap brand. More so, he is one of the most successful artistes and producers in the music industry, with estimated earnings of approximately $180-million from music.
