Kanye West Shows Off His $850K Titanium Teeth
In a new look he compared to the James Bond villain Jaws, Kanye West installed titanium teeth implants reportedly valued at $850,000.
According to initial reports, West, who is now known as Ye, removed every tooth he had and replaced it with metal teeth, however, later reports denied such claims.
Ye worked closely with a team of dentists and cosmetic surgeons to design the prosthodontics, according to a person close to Ye. The model was created by Beverly Hills-based dentist Thomas Connelly, who has designed custom dental art for entertainers and athletes all over the world.
The source close to the rapper also said it was “quite unlike anything that has been done before; the technical term is fixed prosthodontics, they are fixed and permanent, this goes way beyond veneers or grills,” they told the a popular news outlet.
On Wednesday night, Kanye West was seen showing off his new titanium dentures while hanging out with Chris Rock and his wife, Bianca Censori. In an appearance to seemingly celebrate Kanye’s new statement teeth, the trio were spotted at the famous Chateau Marmont, where Kanye made a public showing of his pricey dentures.
At a low-key union at the hotel, which has been a favourite of celebrities, Chris seemed to be joining the couple for lunch. For the occasion, Kanye wore one of his usual all-black outfits.
His clothing consisted of a baggy black jacket with a black hood, a few brighter necklaces peeking out from the hood, and a pair of whiskered jeans that he paired with it. In addition, he wore black shoes and sported a thick beard with his low-cut hair. Additionally, Ye is set to release his album Vultures in short order.
