“Kartel cannot clash Beenie Man pan Stage,” says Khago

Khago weighed in on the potential lyrical clash between Vybz Kartel and Beenie Man to decide who is the reigning King of the Dancehall genre. Khago gave his opinion during a livestream, detailing that most artistes cannot clash Vybz Kartel.

“Aidonia cah clash him,” he said after someone suggested the 4th Genna artiste vs Vybz Kartel. “Valiant dem cah clash Kartel,” he also declared. However, he noted that Beenie Man is a master of the stage.

“Kartel cannot clash Beenie Man pan stage, mi guarantee, all a the mistake dem him mek round Mavado and win, Beenie Man dem too solid, him cah clash him pan stage,” says Khago. As per Khago, Beenie Man wants to clash Kartel on a stage, while Kartel is a studio clash artiste.

Vybz Kartel made note of not turning over the crown in a song he previewed over the weekend, Beenie Man also previewed a song in which he defends the King status. Following Beenie Man’s song preview, Vybz Kartel took to social media to announce that he will not get into a lyrical feud at this time.

Aside from Beenie Man, Khago mentioned Masicka as a wordy opponent vs Kartel. Notably, Masicka has been also calling himself a king, the only difference is that he labels himsself amongst a king of generation of kings.

“The Beenie Man and Kartel war nah guh work,” Khago outlined, detailing that their strengths are in different places plus Kartel only likes to clash against ‘weakfence’. “All a Kartel war dem a weakfence… Kartel war people that him know cannot drop a bag a song… a lucky Mavado lucky,” says Khago.
