Kartel Confirms MC Nuffy for Freedom Street Concert: “Who else cudda call on Vybz Kartel?”

Amidst speculations that MC Nuffy might not work at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert, Kartel himself cleared the air, outlining that the flamboyant MC will be on the show. According to Vybz Kartel, MC Nuffy is the only MC competent enough to call him up onstage.
In his latest interview, Kartel was asked, about the Portmore MC being on the show, “Yeah.. come on nuh man suh who else cud a call on Vybz Kartel?” he asked before expressing that the first two talents confirmed for the show are from his home town in Portmore, Spice and Nuffy.
While recalling his Sting days, he stated that back in the days himself, Spice and MC Nuffy were always booked for shows in Portmore including Sting. “Nuh show cah keep weh big and Vybz Kartel nuh deh pan it, Spice nuh deh pan it, Nuffy nuh deh pan it, yuh know dem way deh, and Nuffy a one a dem man deh weh original too from dem days deh.”
Earlier in September, MC Nuff stated, “Kartel nuh affi tell mi seh… Joe nuh affi tell mi seh a me him a book, mi know, mi book! personally. because yuh si the energy weh the show need, it gone need a Nuffy.”
“Nuff people ago seh how Nuffy sell out, mi could neva sell out… Kartel a mi don, Laing a mi Don, Dudus a mi don, Heavy D a mi don, suh mi cah sell out, cancel Sting,” he expressed.
Kartel confirmed MC Nuffy in an interview with ‘The Brando Music Review Show’ which was released on September 22.
In the interview, Vybz Kartel was asked about Popcaan being on the show, and he answered, by stating, “A doh sure yet enuh, a doh know, him did duh good inna class him neva copy…. as time goes by unuh will hear the lineup… yuh hear weh mi a seh and mi can tell the people dem, anuh bag a man thing pan mi show.”
