Kartel’s Appeal Get’s Heated as his Lawyer Accuses the DPP of Misconduct

[Sharingbuttons]The trial for Vybz Kartel and the other men who were accused of murder was filled with controversy many years ago and there are many people who believe that the men were not guilty and now that the Court of Appeal is accepting new evidence and the accused men could be set free.

It is alleged that there was a member of the jury that was no longer fit for jury duty as he was arrested and charged for trying to bribe the forewoman and other members of the jury when the trial that led to the men’s arrest was going on.
The Director of Public Prosecution Paula Llewellyn had given the judge wrong advice after the juror’s misconduct.
Burt Samuels who is the lawyer who is representing Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm told the appeal court about how the DPP caused the trial to continue even though she knew the jury was tainted.

The lawyer said the DPP simply told the judge to warn the jury about the oath they had taken and proceeded with the trial even though everyone knew about the $500,000.00 bribe.
