Kaylan Dowdie Making Strides in Therapy – Watch Video
Share
Kaylan Dowdie has undoubtedly come a long way since her brutal attack in 2020 and continues to make strides as she proceeds with her physiotherapy at home.
Earlier this year, Dowdie’s mother, Veneshia Buckley, shared moments from the 20-year-old’s first steps since her attack and continues to keep the public updated on her progress.
On Friday, Buckley shared a video of her daughter practising physiotherapy, seemingly at their home.
Despite not having high-tech rehabilitation equipment to aid her during her sessions, Dowdie’s commitment to improving in therapy is evident.
She could be seen undergoing multiple exercises to improve the muscle strength in her legs and her walking. Dowdie’s therapy video was aptly titled “KAYLAN winning!!!”
The five women charged with Dowdie’s near-fatal attack, Timone Williams, Nadine Aldridge, Shakeema McLeod, Crysian Lewis, and Yoland Vassell, are scheduled to appear in the Supreme Court in November.
