Ahead of Friday’s opening races(the heats) for the Men’s 100m, Kishane Thompson has been out on the track, performing block starts and routine exercise drills with his coach Stephen Francis.
Notably, Kishane Thompson, 23, and Shericka Jackson, 30, have been under the radar, so far, at the Olympics giving little to no attention to the media. However, coach Francis has stated that the athletes are ‘ready’ regardless of the public’s concerns.
Kishane had a ‘day off’, a day ago, according to Francis, nonetheless, newly released footage on Wednesday shows the fastest man this season so far back in training mode.
A one minute and twenty-three minutes long footage shows the athlete walking on the track, talking to his coach and performing block start, in which he ran for about 8 metres before slowing down.
