KOD – J Cole’s latest Album hits Number 1 on Billboard Chart

[Sharingbuttons]KOD is the top selling album in the USA, it is J Cole’s latest. It is at the top spot on  Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. The title track got 4.2 million streams and broke Spotify’s opening day streaming record.

There were 174,000 traditional album sales and 322.7 million streams of KOD tracks, the highest amount of streams, higher than Migos Culture ll. KOD  is also the biggest week for any album in 2018. It is second to Justin Timberlake’s “Man of the Woods,” that was reported by Billboard.

Since Kendrick Lamar’s 2017 album, Damn KOD has been the biggest week. The album was released on April 20  and there was no big promotion, he only tweeted the album Title and release date, 4 days before it came out.

This will be J Cole’s 3rd album in a row to make number one on the Billboard chart. Jermaine Lamar Cole aka J. Cole is a star to watch, he is on a roll, really putting out some good music and his fans are loving it. 
The 33 year old German American Hip Hop artist is also a record producer as well.
