Koffee Applies “Pressure” After Lockdown

Just weeks after releasing what is arguably the Reggae Dancehall song of the year “Lockdown”, Koffee returns with an eye-opening tune titled “Pressure”.

Both Koffee and Chronixx seemingly have sparked a resurgence of roots rock reggae in Jamaica as their recent releases collectively have been doing much better than the hardcore dancehall releases from other top Jamaican artistes.

Lockdown is still the number one most streamed song in Jamaica as of July 30th, released two weeks ago the track has racked up over six million views on youtube.

While lockdown was about enjoying life and having fun, Pressure is the opposite as the young artiste reminds us that everyone is under “pressure” whether rich or poor.

“It serious lawd time ruff and it serious” Sings Koffee who hails from very humble beginnings.

SOME LYRICS “Under the pressure, under the pressure Under the pressure, under the pressure If yuh poor, trouble tek you When yuh rich it nuh settle Cause we all under pressure my friend”

Released July 2020, reggae music genre.
