Koffee, confirmed that she will be on the hit late-night show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’. She is Jamaica’s newest reggae star. She confirmed the news on Instagram by simply revealing the date that the episode will be aired. This Thursday Koffee will make her US TV debut.
The 19- year-old has not revealed which song she will perform as yet. Toast and Rapture are her two biggest hits to date. Toast has been featured in Jordan Peele’s latest horror film in the US.
Other Jamaican artistes such as Chronix and Protoje have made their TV debut before her. They appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’. Protoje was on the show last month and Chronix was there last year.
Koffee, made history as she is the youngest Reggae artiste to debut on the Reggae Billboard Chart at number one and she continues to make progress, as she is doing well on Apple’s iTunes Chart with the rapture EP. It caused her to land a spot on the Up Next series that will be run by Apple music.
She became the first Jamaican to be featured on the series; and her EP has sold approximately 1000 copies since it was released.
