Dancehall artiste Konshens in a recent live spoke on how he felt regarding what Buju Banton said about Vybz Kartel when he returned to the island, as well as he touched a little on Alkaline. The whole controversy stemmed from an interview he did, where he expressed himself as being offended by the statement of the Gargamel.
However, in this recent Instagram live the deejay clarified that the topic was not about the “Steppa” artiste and Kartel even though people ran with it that way. In the live chat done less than 24 hours ago, Konshens was not afraid to address the matter again, to make things clear as to why he was offended.
According to the “Gal a Bubble” artiste, what Buju had said about Vybz Kartel alone doing good, did not resonate with him because there are many other entertainers in the business who are doing well. He went on further to explain how people in the music usually use Kartel’s name to trample other people, especially on Social media, but Konshens said that he is not afraid.
The “Bruck off you back” deejay did not however withhold his credits to “Di Teacha” as he said that is who he grew up listening to.
He went on to further explain that rating Vybz Kartel does not mean disliking Alkaline or any other and he even made mention in the Instagram live that the “Vendetta” deejay almost showed the “Gaza Boss” he was capable of running dancehall until the “Worl Boss” reshuffled and took the lead again.
