Back in March of this year, Leon Bailey, 26, announced via an interview that he would be taking a “break” from the Jamaican national team. The announcement was made on the heels of his suspension for a crucial match against the USA.

It’s unclear what will happen in the future, but with the fact that Bailey made a public statement about being included, it would appear that he is not happy with the situation and may not take part in the tournament. Jamaica will first play against Mexico on June 22nd.
