For four weeks straight American rapper Lil baby’s album “My turn” has retained the top spot on the Billboard charts making it the fifth time the project has copped the top spot on the highly recognized charts this year.

Lil Baby’s album has taken the number one spot more than any other this year finishing first in the week of the month of March the project was debuted.

Continuing the momentum from last week, Lil baby’s project had a haul this week of 70,000 album units which kept him in the number one position even though there was a one percent decline in the sales for this week.

That did not push the album out of the coveted spot as the number two album on the chart by Lil Durk entitled “Just cause y’all waited 2” had managed to only pull in 43,000 units this week while “Blame it on Baby” by rapper, Dababy pulled in 40,000 units for the number three spot.

The recent consistency in the performance of Lil Baby’s Album has put him in a very unique position. As a recording artist of Capitol records he now owns the most weeks at number one since the Beatles spent eight weeks on the chart in December of the year 2000 going into February 2001 with a compilation of hit songs by the name of “1”.

His album in its consistency has made itself a leader for Quality Control productions, being their longest chart leading released record.
