Lisa Hanna Sharpens Her Shooting Skills at Gun Range, Says “a woman must be able to defend herself” – Watch Video
Politician Lisa Hanna is keeping her gun-firing skills on point by practising at a shooting range. The former beauty queen, who is an MP of the People’s National Party (PNP), shared a video of herself at the shooting range, loading a gun, and then taking shots at the paper target.
While she is using a handgun in the video, a rifle is next to her. After aiming and discharging her weapon multiple times, the video cuts to show the target filled with bullet holes, many of which are close to the centre, hitting the bullseye.
The short clip that started with her loading the magazine was posted with a message highlighting her disapproval of guns if it is not a situation that calls for self-defence.
In the caption, Hanna stated, “I don’t like guns. I don’t own one. However, I’m a big believer in self-defence and a woman must be able to defend herself if the need arises. Therefore, I learned to shoot when I was a teenager, and I always practice just in case I ever end up in a situation where I must protect myself.”
The video has garnered over 5,668 likes since being posted hours ago. Viewers reacted by agreeing that women needed to learn self-defence, with one IG user saying, “You go girl…self defense is important.”
