Female Dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper whose real name is Felicia Gooden was arrested Tuesday night at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. The former Gaza Nation affiliate went to the airport with luggage, intending to leave the island without a plane ticket to do so.
Lisa went live during her time at the airport, talking about travelling to America and also travelling to see one of her male partners. “Dem ago carry mi to one a mi man dem, mi muss get di money, somebody muss book the ticket fi mi.”
As she carried on, multiple employees at the airport approached her, seemingly with sarcastic comments which turned into an argument.
Responding to a comment on the livestream, she stated: “Yeah it a tape, Gaza nuh rape but Gaza a paedophile… yuh wah mi bring unh dung, test mi… unuh don’t test mi a will talk things that will send him back a bloodcl**t prison.”
Shortly after, the outspoken deejay was also approached by the police which caused a stand-off. She was told to leave the airport because being at the airport without a ticket is an arrestable offence.
“This a make history, a history mi a mek bout yah,” Lisa said before naming Vybz Kartel and someone named “Chase” from Stony Hill, declaring that both of them can not get back with her sexually.
During the livestream, she seemingly got into an altercation with an employee and a police officer. She went up to a few females at one point, threatening to hit one of them and requesting them to stop video recording her.
“We are gonna charge you aright,” said a male police officer to the female Dancehaller at one point, Lisa’s response was “charge mi”.
Before being arrested, Lisa Hyper was instructed one last time to “leave the airport are come with the police”, after failing to do so, moments later she was arrested with handcuffs and taken away.
“Let go the Gaza,” said a passerby, Lisa replied saying that “Gaza can go s**k dem madda”.
Lisa Hyper was taken to the Norman Manley International Airport Police Station, her Livestream ended as soon as she entered the station.
