Lybran the “Rum Boss” brought back comedy and laughter to the dancehall

[Sharingbuttons]Lybran the entertainer who has brought back comedy and laughter to the dancehall scene in Jamaica got a warm welcome at Summer Sizzle in Clarendon this year. There was one patron there who even told him that he was about to leave, but he stayed to watch his performance.

The entertainer looked comfortable on stage, his outfit and his use of the stage was excellent; added to that his lyrics made the patrons laugh. In a recent interview Lybran said he had to take painkillers for a toothache as his wisdom tooth broke off, but he really wanted to make it to the shows. He made it to the show in Falmouth and asked the promoter if he could allow him to perform early so he could go to Summer Sizzle.

Lybran wants to be a professional with good work ethics, as he wants to be like the great dancehall artistes who have done well in the music business before. The recording artiste is being compared to Fambo and Professor Nuts, and he likes that. He has had more international artistes and other persons sharing his videos, so he knows his fan base is growing.

He was the High School performer and even Popcaan would look up to him in those days, as he went to school in St Thomas. He did modeling for a while and now he has a video with a Rum Talk Medley that is being played on radio and it is on Youtube as well. Even though he sounds like a drunkard he encourages persons to drink responsibly.
