The artiste, who recently collected her official Grammy certificate for her contributions to Sly & Robbie’s Grammy-nominated album, Amazing; saw this as additional motivation to create more internationally acclaimed recordings to add to her expansive catalog which span over two decades.

I’m always recording new music so this isn’t new, but collecting my Grammy certificate really helped motivate me to refocus on getting more accolades with my recorded material, it’s a great feeling and I want more of those,” Macka Diamond admitted

With a diverse international catalog, Macka Diamond isn’t new to topping charts worldwide and performing her material in different languages on events across the globe where Dancehall itself is rarely seen. She is also no stranger to getting awards, with Caribbean awards like QORIHC and IRAWMA under her belt, the Diamond of Dancehall is sure she will get another Grammy nod before she retires her recording artiste cap.

Making hit singles with longevity is always in my wheelhouse, songs like ‘Bun Him’ and ‘Dye Dye’ are still worldwide hits. A lot of times it’s how the material is submitted and on which project which makes the difference between a hit song and an award winning one,” Macka Diamond added The viral artiste is now busy in studio recording new material with producers worldwide.

Her new recordings include; ‘Kitty’ produced by Jason Emanuel from Netherlands, ‘African King’ by Paypaz Chasaz Music, ‘Back Back Me Love’ produced by Kai Kai records, ‘While Dem A Watch’ produced by Kemar Mcgreggor, ‘Jockey’ by DJ Kendo from Costa Rica and ‘Workout’ by Selecta and Producer Supa Hype.
