Man Almost Beheaded and Son in Custody, Funerals to Plan in 2020

Persons in Georges Valley, Manchester are starting the new year with funerals to plan, they are trying hard to come to terms with the fact that their loved ones are no longer with them.

One relative spoke about losing Vivian Scott about 2 weeks ago when he was shot to death in Mammee Bay, St Ann and then facing the death of a cousin’s sister who had Lupus before Mr. Roy Leon was almost beheaded allegedly by his son.

Mr. Leon’s son who is now in police custody was acting strange but when family members spoke to him, he said he was fine.

Mr. Leon was a highly respected member of the community and he will be missed as he was a skillful trade man.

“Right now, new year a come and mi nuh feel the new year, none at all. We not even collect Vivian body yet and now wi a face this. Mi nuh eat from morning, mi nuh hungry. Mi handle dead but when it hit home it different,” he said.
