Man Killed While Visiting Girlfriend in St. Ann

A 20-year-old man from St. Mary, identified as Jordane Parkinson of Petersfield, tragically lost his life to gun violence while at his partner’s residence in St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann, on a Wednesday evening.

According to police reports, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Parkinson found himself in a perilous situation while seated in a bedroom at his girlfriend’s home. Suddenly, he was ambushed by two individuals. In a threatening display, one of the assailants produced a gun and fired at Parkinson, striking him in the head and torso.

Authorities were promptly notified and rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, Parkinson was transported to the hospital where he was declared deceased.

The case remains under active investigation as authorities seek to uncover further details and apprehend those responsible for the heinous act.
