Man Remains In Custody For Murder Of Stepson

Orchest Rose otherwise known as Phillip from Seaview Gardens, St. Andrew is to remain in a remanded state following his recent court session that was held on Friday, for the murder of 8 year old Galen Buchannan in January of last year.
The 8 year old’s body was reportedly found at approximately 3:15 pm in the Kingston 2 area at a harbour in Royal Palm, Bournemouth with the hands tied together, after going missing on January 21st, 2020.
The then 40 year old Rose, was arrested in Trelawny where he was at the time, and charged on February 4th by the Major investigations division of Police for the murder.
He will need to remain under lockdown until February 1st, where they will decide if the case will need an escalation to the High court for trial.
