In his latest series of posts on social media aimed at counteracting Spice‘s interview with The Fix, MC Nuffy has used a fellow Portmore native to highlight Spice and his history. The two have been going back and forth with each other for years, however, months ago MC Nuffy apologised for his actions.
Spice did not respond to the apology initially, causing a pause in their usual back and forth. However, in her latest interview, Spice pointed out that she did not accept his apology because it did not seem sincere and gave reasons for not forgiving the popular MC who she was once very close to.
According to Spice, the popular MC “is a set on… Nuffy just live fi trouble people and him is a provoking set on… a suh him stay that’s him natural energy.” Hence when he apologised she did not respond nor accept it, “mi couldn’t accept the apology.”
In a now-deleted post that was made right after the interview was released, MC Nuffy stated on Instagram, “Spice wat away yuh full a lie you always turning the argument the other way around jus because you don’t want to tell the world 🌎 who buss you and how your career started out.”
He followed up by sharing two videos on Tuesday, the first video with the caption, “Part 1 of me not saying anything about Spice but the fans of Portmore giving her a Cool reminder @spiceofficial.stats please to bring the news Carefully.”
In the videos, a man who says he knows of the two very well, highlights that MC Nuffy was the big man in Portmore when Spice was trying to get the big break, “mi deh deh when the seed a plant,” he states as he agrees that Nuffy was instrumental in her career, “a Nuffy mi see plant dah seed deh”.
He went on to outline that Bounty Killer, Ninjaman and Baby Cham only know of Spice after MC Nuffy got her a buzz. He also highlights that she got her first popular song while around Nuffy, a song that was dissing Elephant Man.
“Suh when yuh seh now Nuffy get artiste fi wah try clash yo and fi bring dung yo career… mi feel some type a way cah mi see weh MC Nuffy did duh fi yo… why yuh cah gi di dawg him credit,” the outspoken associate of Nuffy outlines that clashing helped to build Spice’s career.
