Mechanic T.I.D. Finds Another Gear In Music

Fast-rising Trinidadian recording artiste Mechanic T.I.D. has been popping up at several musical hubs of late. The artiste who says he blends Rap, dancehall, Afrobeat and SOCA describes himself as a hybrid artiste because his sound is a melting pot of genres that he does not like putting a label on.
“I am a recording artiste and I say that because my sound is fluid so I refuse to box myself into one category of music. I enjoy doing several and I am very proficient at creating multiple genres,” Stated Mechanic T.I.D.
The artiste recently earned major props from his growing Jamaican audience as well as the diaspora for paying homage to the legendary “Teddy Bruk Shut” of Shottas, the classic Jamaican film. And according to Mechanic T.I.D as his name suggests he is here to fix things that need fixing.
“Shottas is a classic and I was honestly surprised that nobody paid tribute in song to the great Teddy Bruk Shut because he has had such an impact on Caribbean culture and even on the way many dancehall artistes act and dress. It only felt right for me to do and so far the public is really loving it” Stated Mechanic T.I.D.
Currently, Mechanic T.I.D is busy in promotion mode as well as recording for several top-flight producers.
