Medikk’s Presumed Death Was a Contract Murder Tied to a Personal Relationship: Police Report

Following the discovery of remains believed to be those of Dancehall artiste Medikk, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Fitz Bailey has shared that the the artiste is suspected to have been the victim of a contract murder tied to a personal relationship.
Medikk, born Stephany Williams, went missing in August 2023.
Following several months of investigation, the police discovered skeletal remains suspected to be those of the 29-year-old on February 14 in a cane field in Wallen, St. Catherine.
After the discovery, the authorities shared that it is suspected that Medikk’s presumed murder was a contract killing.
However, they did not divulge any further details and DNA testing is to be conducted on the remains to ascertain the victim’s identity.
According to Nationwide News, DCP Bailey has now disclosed that the authorities are “90%” sure the remains belong to Medikk.
Speaking on Nationwide Monday morning, Bailey further shared the ongoing theory that the artiste’s murder is tied to a former partner.
It is believed Medikk was targeted after the relationship deteriorated.
