Men fatally shot At Cookshop In Westmoreland

Tragedy struck in the parish of Westmoreland about 6 pm on Friday as two men were gunned down at a cookshop.

The two men who were identified as Ricardo Nugent and Odane Wynter was reported to be going about their business at the shop when a vehicle drove up with men who alighted with guns, opening fire and hitting Nugent who is also known as “Stagga” and Wynter.

The armed men then escaped the location in the car.

Both men who are from Cedar Walk District, Westmoreland was rushed to the hospital to be treated but were pronounced dead.

The police are currently investigating the matter to get to the source of the incident.
