Metro Boomin’s Mother Killed By Her Husband Who Commits Suicide After
American record label producer Metro Boomin has requested privacy as he mourns the death of his mother who was murdered by her husband, who also took his own life after.
A representative of Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne, confirmed Leslie Joanne Wayne died this weekend, which, according to TMZ reports occurred on Friday night.
Reports further state that the police found the deceased just outside of the Atlanta area. Leslie’s husband, who is not Metro Boomin’s father, committed suicide after killing her, but there are no more details regarding his death at this point.
The cause of Leslie’s death is awaiting to be confirmed after an autopsy is completed.
Metro Boomin, who is also a record executive and a DJ, has worked with some of the top artistes such as Future, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Migos, Travis Scott, Drake, Kanye West and 21 Savage.
Boomin and his 3 siblings were raised in St. Louis by his mother, who encouraged him to pursue a career in music after she realized her son was very talented. Leslie, who was very close with her son has always been supportive of his dreams as she would transport him from STL to Atlanta in order to work with artistes during his years of adolescents and early adulthood.
