Michail Antonio Of West Ham To Play For Jamaica

English born football player for West Ham, Michail Antonio has decided that he is going to start his international career, with the Jamaican team.
Antonio who’s parents has Jamaican heritage, was placed several times on the English Squad for friendlies but was never officially capped as a team member.
The striker who is now 30 years of age was recruited by the reggae boyz last month after it was rumoured that they were looking for 15 new players.
The choice by Michail Antonio was made right ahead of an upcoming friendly match, in Austria where they will face the United States.
According to Antonio, playing for Jamaica will allow him to get more international game time even though, at this time some key English players are injured which could prove to be an opportunity for him.
West Ham manager David Moyes, said that he really wanted the striker to play for England, and is still hoping at this point that he gets called for the squad.
Michail Antonio has played for clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday, in the year 2012 then to Nottingham forest In the year 2014 where he left to join West Ham United F.C in the year 2015.
