Milk Talks Being Rescued by Vybz Kartel and Shaggy After Leaked Tape – Watch Video

A fall from grace that demolished her standing in society and completely ruined her life Amelia ‘Milk’ Sewell, a former CVM television show host, lamented how she lost everything after a video of her in a compromising position was leaked to the public. In an interview on the television show Sim Soul Sessions, she spoke of how world-renown artistes Vybz Kartel and Shaggy stood by her during her time of need.

In the riveting interview, Milk recalled how she had to move from her home to live in her car because of how her family neglected her. She also recalled how most of corporate Jamaica shunned her as well, leaving her with no way to develop an income to support her life. She, however, saw a glimmer of hope in what seemed like a never-ending tunnel when popular dancehall artiste and songwriter Vybz Kartel extended a helping hand.

A sorrow-filled Milk spoke of how she received a phone call from the artiste saying, “Milk, we live in a patriarchal society… I am going to make this thing okay for you. Come and work for me.” Vybz Kartel took it upon himself to save this Jamaican damsel in distress and helped her rise back to her feet. Milk was employed by the “Electric” artiste as the road manager for the singers that were working with Vybz Kartel as part of his Gaza team.

Vybz Kartel was however not the only Jamaican star who reached out in aid of the young woman. Jamaican-American reggae singer Shaggy was reportedly the first to call the former host to offer some words of encouragement, saying, “Keep your head up, you didn’t do anything wrong.” He also made sure to offer a spot in the music video for his single “Bad Man Don’t Cry.” Shaggy’s intention was to make it known to the public that he had no issues working with Milk and that he was standing by her.

In conclusion, she explained that the help she would have wanted to receive from her female counterparts was missing throughout her challenging time and even spoke of how she had to start selling paraphernalia to survive when her back was against the wall. Although she was in tears, Milk was obviously thankful to both singers for the help they gave her when she needed it most.
