MonCherie the Dancehall Artiste, Missing for One Week

MonCherie the dancehall entertainer was confirmed missing in Alaska, USA for one week. The artiste who has done a collaboration with Vybz Kartel and was known in Jamaica even though she lives in Alaska.

The police in Alaska published a missing person bulletin, last Tuesday with photos of the artiste on their website. The department asked the public’s help to find a Black female, Cherie Stoute, 29-year-old, who weighs 120 lbs and she is 5’1″ tall with brown eyes and black hair.

A friend of hers has been updating her Instagram page with news about what is happening. She said Moncherie has family and a boyfriend in Alaska and she has been there for 9 months.

Moncherie’s boyfriend who was sounding very distraught, said his girlfriend went missing after she was released from the police station. She was with him for 2 weeks before she went missing.

He also said MonCherie was involved in an altercation with a family member and a cell phone was broken. She also had an anxiety attack and he tried to take her to the hospital to get her some medication, and she would not go.

Her mother then advised him to take her to a different ER where police would meet them and take her to be treated.

He found out that the police locked her up instead, as she was charged for the destruction of the cell phone. She refused to go to an arraignment on Sunday also and the police should drop the charges and release her the following morning.

When the artiste’s mother and her boyfriend got to the station the following morning they were told that she was released the previous evening. The police station is located in a bad area and she had no way of contacting anyone. No one has seen or hear from her since.
