Mother Accidentally Shoots 5yo Son – Video

According to neighbours, the 24-year-old mother and her family were out walking when a dog ran out on them. The Texas woman accidentally shot her five-year-old son in the abdomen when trying to shoot the loose dog that was running toward her child.

The mother reportedly “freaked out” after a bullet ricocheted and hit her son who was riding a bike. Surprisingly the dog suffered only minor injuries which included a bullet graze to the leg. The suspected dog is said to be a 6-month-old puppy who was unlikely to cause any harm to the kid. The child did not receive life-threatening injuries.
