Mother Blames Jamaica Gov. after her Badly Burnt Daughter Passes away – Video

The family of Kerry Ann Collins mourns as the 25-year-old woman died Wednesday of severe burn wounds she suffered in a kitchen blast in late November.

The family had been seeking to raise dunds to pay for plastic surgery, and grafting which comes with a hefty fee of USD 773,000 and USD 15000 for the air ambulance fee.

The life-saving treatment was intended to take place at a Florida hospital.

Delicita Anderson was alerted by the screams of her daughter Kerry-ann Collins, on November 27 as a gas stove, that she was using exploded leading to her getting caught on fire and receiving burns all over her body.

The incident happened in the community of Palm Grove, off Spanish Town road.

According to the mother, she had to rush in the Kitchen with a bath of water, immediately throwing it on Collins to out the fire.

News Broke on Wednesday, December 11th that Kerry-ann passed away and her family as seen in a video posted by the Gleaner expressed the fact that they were not happy with the Jamaica government after they did not help, “they is no help to Jamaica” States Kerry’s mom who pointed out that she called on the prime minister to assist her but no one helped.

Kerry-ann lived for 12 days after she got the severe burn. Her sis was also upset about the fact that there is no “burn Unit” in the country to assist poor people.
