Mother Cries Out After Witnessing Clarendon Massacre, “Gary dead inn mi hand… Courtney eye shot out”: Video
As per new reports, “a series of incidents” lead to the loss of eight lives in Clarendon on Sunday. Multiple persons were shot at multiple locations including a spot where Bingo was being played.
“Gary dead inn mi hand, lord God… it too much… Courtney eye shot out, Courtney dead, dem shot out him eye, a cah bare it,” said a mother of one of the victims who also reportedly lost two other family members.
The Mother also recalled seeing when “dem a shoot Kerry”, who is one of the victims. “I’m dying inside,” she said as she called on to Jesus.
As per law enforcers, this was an attack on the community, no info was provided about the motive for the terror attack. “The community came under attack obviously from outsiders,” said one person from the area who also asked for more police protection for the community.
As per the police, “A group of men approached and opened fire, killing eight people, including an eight-year-old boy and three females. Nine persons, including a 1-year-and-nine-months-old baby, were shot and injured and are at the hospital.”
Jamaica has not witnessed such a mass shooting in decades.
