Multiple Lives Lost in Bahamas Plane Crash

On Monday, two individuals were killed when a jet crashed in bushes near the Treasure Cay International Airport in Abaco, Nassau Bahamas. The police reported that the IAI Westwind aircraft, was on fire when rescue teams got to Treasure Cay.
It was also reported that the plane was seen taxiing before but broke out into flames and smoke was also coming out of it, not long after.
There was no sign of life when the police checked, the pilots were still on board when the fire started.
The Tourism and Aviation Minister Dionisio D’Aguilar reported that the plane dropped off foreign visitors, last Friday when it came from the Dominican Republic. A flight plan was then filed for the plane to fly to Nassau from Treasure Cay.
Photos of the mangled, charred plane parts were circulated on Social Media a lot. The bodies of the pilots were burnt beyond recognition.
A team from the Air Accident Investigation Authority was deployed to the crash site Today/Tuesday.
