Murdered While Watching World Cup

[Sharingbuttons]Eighteen year old Marlon Beckford was shot many times in his head while he watched the World Cup football match between Senegal and Japan at his home on Dalling Street, in Westmoreland recently.

The teenager who was called Puggie was ambushed by two gunmen who escaped on foot in the area. No motive has been established for his killing as yet by the Police.

Another murder also took place in Hanover, it was reported that Akeem Samuels who was also called Brandon was walking with a 17- year- old young lady in Grange Hill when they were both shot several times.

Gang violence is being blamed for these murders even though the motive has not been fully established as yet. There was a 19 day break when there was no killing in the area, however the gangs are still there and the police is planning to patrol more often, so that peace can be restored, but they know they need to dismantle the gangs before they can put an end to these senseless killings.
