NBA YoungBoy Arrested and Indicted on Federal Gun Charges

A federal grand jury indicted the Baton Rouge Rapper NBA YoungBoy whose correct name is Kentrell Gaulden on firearm counts after his previous arrest in September. After being out on bail for months, the “Overdose” rapper is back in the pen again, he was nabbed while in L.A. where he now lives after moving from his hometown in Louisiana.

21-year-old NBA YoungBoy who was previously charged only for the drugs seized from him has now been charged for possession of a firearm not registered in the National Firearms Registration and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. It was reported that he had two guns on him when he was initially arrested last year.

The March 10, indictment was unsealed late Tuesday afternoon on March 23rd not long after he was arrested on March 22nd.  According to reports, the rapper tried to run away from law enforcers after they stopped him, he was however captured after a short chase by the cops whereby he was tracked by a K-9 dog.

Back in September, Gaulden was arrested along with 16 other men, the police confiscated drugs and guns while Youngboy and others were making a music video, illegal stocks and also $79,000 was also seized. According to reports the cops were ordered to return money taken from the scene but not accounted for.

Morrow D Battie, one of NBA’s friends a 22-year-old man was also charged in the same crime and indictment, he is also from Baton Rouge in Louisiana.
