Netflix Documentary Investigates Bob Marley’s Assassination Attempt

A new Netflix show will investigate the assassination attempt on Bob Marley, which took place in 1976. The series will open with the title “Remastered-Who Shot the Sheriff”? And the role of Jamaican politicians and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the United States of America will be explored.
The series will explore various theories, to determine why and who tried to arm the Reggae Superstar when his career was doing so well. Topics such as gang warfare, conspiracy theories, political scheming, the power of music and corruption will be covered.
The series could premiere on the streaming service as soon as October 12 and a new episode coming out each month until 2018.
The series could shed more light on the assassination attempt that left Bob, Rita and Don Taylor injured.
The incident remains one of the many unsolved mysteries in the world and persons will be interested to see what evidence is found. The Reggae Star was shot after the election in 1972 and the People’s National Party that was led by Michael Manley had won. There are so many unanswered questions and it has been said that Marley knew who had tried to kill him.
Netflix has done other projects on the island before.
