Mavado‘s son, Dante Brooks who is currently 22 years old and serving a life sentence in prison seems to be handling his time behind bars well as a new photo of him surfaced.
The photo shows him having a drink as he hangs out with associates in prison. It’s unclear which correctional facility the photo was taken at. Seemingly, someone’s birthday was being celebrated as all men had a cup in hand.
The photo also had the words “@antsman4045 Blessed Earthdtrong bro” written on it.
Every now and then a photo surfaces of Dante who seems to be a reserved person, notably, a video has never surfaced of him talking. The photo below surfaced in February of this year.
Brooks who turned 22 in April was sentenced to life in prison back in 2021 for the murder of Lorenzo Thomas in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew. Dante’s co-accused Andre Hinds who was 26 years old at the time was also sentenced to life in prison.
Dante must serve 22 years before he can go on parole while Andre Hinds must serve 17 years before being eligible for parole. Brooks also got a 15-year sentence for arson and 20 years for illegal possession of a firearm while Hinds got 15 years for arson and 15 years for illegal possession of a firearm.
Both men were found guilty on January 27th, 2021 in the Home Circuit Court and said to be two of several men who entered the house where Thomas was staying and killed him, the Killing was allegedly witnessed by Thomas’ father who was reportedly put in another room.
Brooks was 16 years old at the time of the murder in 2018.
