Nhance Arrested During Dramatic Encounter with Cops in Cross Roads: Video

The son of female Dancehall artiste Sheba, Nhance who is also a Dancehall artiste went live as he was being accosted by law-enforcers in the Cross Roads area. The artiste was adamant that he would not be arrested, “nuh man cah lock mi up suh bredda, yo mad bro.”

Footage from the incident shows the deejay in handcuffs after initially resisting arrest. According to one of the occupants of the vehicle the artiste was travelling, “all now dem nuh stop wi”.

On the other hand, Nhance talked about being chased without warning that police were behind him, he only noticed that they were police after pulling into the gas station to get something.

“Mi ago sue,” shouted the deejay at one point after requesting to talk to his lawyer. He also made mentions of his mother and a lot more during the ordeal which seemingly took place early Monday morning.

In the 13-minute-long video clip, a black BMW is seen parked at a gestation close to the KFC in Cross Roads.

A police officer can be heard telling the deejay, “yuh failed to present your driver’s license”. One of the lawmen searched the vehicle the artiste was driving, however, did not find anything illegal. The deejay was next placed in a service vehicle and taken away to a police station, he was followed by his associates.

Reacting to the incident, one Youtube user wrote, “Police don’t like see youths in certain type a cars in Jamaica,a Lada the youths them fi drive ,sym police.” Another said, “the video man deserved a lot of credit, a real youth that…trust me….”
