Following his passing on December 7, 2024, TikToker Niah Gang will be laid to rest next month, four months after his passing on April 5. Niah’s mother announced the date of his funeral while with Dancehall artiste CPR Blacksan at the Heavenly Doves funeral home where Niah’s body is currently at.
She also shared that Niah’s funeral will be in Saint Ann’s Bay, with Steer Town serving as his final resting place. The dates of the 23-year-old’s nine night/wake and grave digging have not yet been set.
However, his mother assured his supporters that she would provide the dates later, as well as the name of the venue for his funeral. “The funeral service will be here in St Ann’s Bay… Later i will update you officially,” the mother said in the short video clip below:
Niah, born Xavier Fogah, was fatally shot at Panton Lane, Old Harbour, St. Catherine, during a TikTok livestream.
The circumstances surrounding Niah’s murder sent shockwaves across the local TikTok community.
While a man suspected to be involved in his murder was fatally shot by the police in January, no one has been formally charged in connection to his death.
