Female rapper Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are now looking at a legal backlash from Jennifer Hough, who the entertainer’s spouse was convicted for attempting to rape in 1995. This is coming just a few days after Petty took a plea deal.
According to the reports, Petty was charged for the act and had to register as a sex offender in New York however, the same story has played out again, as his recent move to California, saw him being charged and convicted as he failed to register as an offender in the state.
Jennifer Hough has stated in reports that Minaj and her Husband have been harassing her since they got married in 2018 for the case to be dropped and details withheld, as that would have helped Petty, to avoid the California conviction.
According to the court documents filed by Hough, Nicki Minaj placed an offer on the table for the woman, and her family to take a trip to Los Angeles to having her retract the rape claims however, she did not accept.
Hough also said in the documents that the rapper kept on calling her on a regular basis with other offers, even including her brother in the mix by offering him $500k to get her to retract her claim and going on to offer her $20k as well that she refused and said she was in a state of threat and fear, moving in August 2020 from the residence she was at for safety.
In a counteractive measure against Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hough is looking to get compensated for damages from claims of harassment, emotional distress, intentional infliction of emotional distress and witness intimidation.
