[Sharingbuttons]The St Ann police are reporting that the strategies they implemented in order to reduce crime in communities recently have caused them to be able to say there were no murders to record for June.

There was an increase in shootings, but they reported that community policing was working and there was also a reduction in major crimes. There is also a victim risk assessment system that also helped to reduce the number of murders in the division.

It has been reported that there has even been a change of culture, as the drivers are acting decently and there is less traffic congestion on the roads, as there has been more police presence on the roadways.

There has been a report that more travelers and bus operators and taxi operators have started using the bus parks, and they have become quite orderly in the way they organize themselves in lines and wait for passengers.
