According to a report by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), Noel Maitland, the Police Constable who was also the Social Media Influencer’s boyfriend, has given himself up to the police. It was relayed that he surrendered to the Constabulary Force’s Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime unit on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. This has been confirmed by the attorney that is representing Maitland, Christopher Townsend.
24-year-old Donna-Lee Donaldson has been missing since Wednesday, July 13, 2022, it’s now two weeks since she was last heard from.
The JCF reports that Maitland’s arrest occurred on account of the review session that took place with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) last night, July 26. It can be recognized that the DPP, Paula Llwelleyn, and her fellow senior prosecutors counselled the investigative team in charge of the case that there was enough evidence provided to begin the procedure of a formal arrest and charges laid against Constable Maitland.
Maitland, who is also a popular Music Producer, is now formally a major suspect in the case with the police proceeding with their investigation. On the other hand, “there is no evidence to link” District Constable Smith to the disappearance of Donalson, according to the report. However, she was served with a notice on Monday, July 25, and her removal from active duty earlier today.
It is feared that the former 876 Roommates host, Donna-Lee Donaldson, is dead. Nation Wide relays that the efforts of the police have intensified as well as the rise in protests for the missing woman by her family and friends.
