Nuffy Says He Will be MC at Freedom Street Concert: “Kartel nuh affi tell mi.. Joe nuh affi tell mi, mi know, mi book!”

In his latest interview, popular Dancehall master of ceremony, MC Nuffy declares that he will be working at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street concert on December 31, even though he’s yet to get contractual confirmation.

MC Nuffy was scheduled to be honoured at this year’s staging of Sting, however, it seems like that will not be the case. Nuffy expressed that enough people will not be at the event this year for him to get the energy that he wants from the crowd in an Interview with OnstageTV.

“No artiste within this moment want to challenge Vybz Kartel fi seh dem ago duh sting seven days before… I said to Laing, cancel the show, yuh cah challenge Vybz Kartel… Lets give Vybz Kartel this Christmas, let it be a Vybz Kartel and Gaza Christmas,” Says Nuffy.

He doubled down on his call for Laing to cancel Sting 2024. “Please to cancel the show,” he said as he expressed that he will be saving up his energy for Vybz Kartel’s concert. “Mi a focus pan one show and a one show mi a focus pan, Freedom Street,” outlined Nuffy.

“Kartel nuh affi tell mi seh… Joe nuh affi tell mi seh a me him a book, mi know, mi book! personally. because yuh si the energy weh the show need, it gone need a Nuffy.”

The outspoken on-stage personality was asked about the confirmation of him hosting Freedom Street, Nuffy responded by recounting the history of him calling up Vybz Kartel, highlighting that he has done it the most and he;’s the best to do it.

According to the man who is closely affiliated with Sting, it’s best to give the deejay this year and ask him to perform at Sting in 2025. He calls on Laing to still “respect” him because he’s only talking in the best interest of the show.

“Nuff people ago seh how Nuffy sell out, mi could neva sell out… Kartel a mi don, Laing a mi Don, Dudus a mi don, Heavy D a mi don, suh mi cah sell out, cancel Sting,” he expressed.
