Oblique Seville, 23, of Jamaica stormed to victory in the men’s 200m straight race at the Adidas Atlanta City Games on Saturday, May 18, clocking a Personal Best (PB) of 19.96 seconds despite a headwind of -1.1 m/s.

This performance from lane four solidified Seville’s position as a rising star in track and field ahead of the upcoming Parish Olympic Games which is a few months away.

Seville’s impressive run edged out Trinidad and Tobago’s Jereem Richards, who finished in 20.04 seconds, claiming second place. American sprinter Elija Godwin secured third place with a time of 20.47 seconds.

Seville’s achievement not only highlights his exceptional capabilities but also sets a new benchmark in his athletic career.
