“Of Dons and Divas” Set to be a Grammy Album says Vybz Kartel

Vybz Kartel revealed that he believes his new album, Of Dons & Divas, is a Grammy award winning album.

He is considered to be one of the greatest talents to emerge out of the island, but without a Grammy to his name, it could be felt that there is one missing part to his self proclaimed Kingship.

He might be trying to change that with “Of Dons and Divas” his upcoming album, it is scheduled to be released on June 26, 2020. The artiste is entrusting all his hope in this project since he unveiled the official tracklist and cover art recently.

Kartel shared the full cover art and announced the availability of the track for presale, and revealed his goals to his over 1 million Instagram followers.

He wrote “#ofdonsanddivas the #GRAMMY Album”. he also tagged a number of the industry’s musical giants as well.

A number of persons are not convinced that Kartel is able to produce what the judges on the Grammy selection panel are looking for. Mr. Vegas a fellow artiste spoke on the topic two years ago, and said he believes the Worl’boss is deserving of the award, as the hard work he has put in over the years is outstanding.

It is still uncertain how much production credits Vybz Kartel’s upcoming project will get. However, it’s evident the album will play a key role in his quest for the coveted award.

Vybz Kartel’s previous effort, “To Tanesha” has earned him a brief spot on the Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart and definitely added to his pockets a couple million dollars.

If ‘Of Dons & Divas’ is recorded properly, mastered, distributed, and becomes a good representation of the genre, we could see the project doing much better than his previous projects.
